SURVEYOR

Role Overview

The Surveyor (Public Survey) is responsible for conducting on-ground surveys, collecting accurate data from the public, and ensuring high-quality reporting. This role demands clarity in communication, patience, and zero compromise on data accuracy. The work often involves field visits, interacting with diverse groups, and capturing feedback or required information as per project needs. 


Key Responsibilities

· Approach and interact with individuals in public places to collect required data.
· Conduct structured interviews using survey forms, apps, or digital tools.
· Ensure responses are recorded accurately and completely.
· Follow daily targets for the number of surveys completed.
· Verify and cross-check information when needed.
· Maintain discipline, professionalism, and politeness during all interactions.
· Submit daily/weekly survey reports to supervisors.
· Follow all guidelines provided for the project or campaign.
· Escalate issues or unusual responses to the team lead.


Qualifications & Skills

· SSC / HSC/ Graduate.

· Field survey experience is preferred but not mandatory.

· Good communication and people-handling skills.
· Ability to approach strangers confidently and respectfully.
· Basic reading and writing ability in local languages.
· Comfortable using mobile apps, GPS, or digital survey tools.
· Patience, honesty, and clear understanding of instructions.
· Ability to meet daily survey targets and maintain consistency.
· Physically fit to travel and conduct fieldwork.


Compensation & Benefits


Annual CTC

· ₹1.5 LPA – ₹2.2 LPA


Incentives

· Performance-based incentives for surveys completed beyond targets.
· Special bonuses for accuracy, quality of data, or project completion.


Work Benefits

· Travel allowance or reimbursement (as per project).
· Mobile/data allowance (if required).
· Paid leaves & holidays.
· ID and Visiting Card provided for field activity.
· Training before project rollout.


Work Culture

· 6-day work week.

· Working hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM.

· Holidays: As per bank holidays.

· Formal dress code; strong emphasis on punctuality and professionalism.


Growth Path

Field Surveyor → Senior Field Surveyor → Field Team Leader → Field Supervisor
