Role Overview
As a Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be acquiring new clients and driving sales of financial products including investment and insurance solutions.
You’ll be on the front-line meeting prospects, pitching solutions, and converting them into paying clients.
Key Responsibilities
· Identify and approach potential clients through field activity, referrals, and networking.
· Drive sales by meeting 8 clients daily and generate lead/ referrals using prospect onboarding forms/ feedback forms.
· Retrieve, verify and digitize legacy policy details using the MWEC technique.
· Pitch financial products (insurance, investment plans, etc.), handle objections and close deals effectively .
· Complete onboarding: proposal forms, documentation, medical scheduling, and digital submissions.
· Track renewals; issue premium reminders; reduce lapse ratios; manage endorsements.
· Provide claims assistance, documentation guidance, insurer coordination, and status tracking.
· Maintain accurate daily reporting and CRM hygiene (meetings, notes, documents).
· Uphold regulatory compliance (KYC, AML, disclosures) and SmartFP process standards.
· Participate in monthly knowledge checks, product trainings and team reviews.
Qualifications & Skills
· Graduates (any stream)
· 0–2 years’ experience in sales in financial service industry (Freshers are welcome)
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
· Target driven and competitive mindset
· High energy and willingness to be on the field
Compensation & Benefits:
Annual CTC
